Contemporary Jewish and Israeli Life in Berlin

Since the fall of the Wall, the Jewish community in general and especially in Berlin has witness a growth only to be compared with the growth in the beginning of the 20th century. This is mostly due to mass migration from the former Soviet Union, after Jews were allowed to leave the country.

Many articles and TV programs dealt with that and even the Israeli minister of finance, Yair Lapid, refered to the young Isrealis immegrating to Berlin (http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/currency/2013/10/the-real-reason-for-israels-brain-drain.html).
